Job summary

Waukegan Tire is seeking a Tire Technician to join a results-focused, performance-driven team delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will perform tire mounting, balancing, rotations, flats repair, TPMS work, oil changes, inspections, and light mechanical tasks as skills progress.

Qualifications

• Automotive service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
• Detail-oriented with safety mindset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• physically able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Conduct visual inspections and document issues.
• Test and install batteries.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Work with the team to deliver fast, accurate service.
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services as skills grow.
