Job summary

Waukegan Tire in Grayslake, IL is seeking a Tire Technician to join a results-driven team. You will mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires, inspect and service TPMS sensors, and perform oil changes while maintaining safety standards.

We offer an hourly rate with overtime opportunities, paid vacation/holidays, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and clear pathways for growth into other automotive roles. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Tire/lube or automotive service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Detail-oriented and safety-minded.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Flexible availability including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires.
• Repair flats and inflate to spec.
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors.
• Perform oil changes and replace filters.
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety.
• Deliver fast, accurate, elite service with the team.
• Progress into light mechanical services as skills grow.

Tire Technicians:

• Mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires
• Repair flats and inflate to spec
• Test, replace, register, and reset TPMS sensors
• Perform oil changes and replace filtersConduct visual inspections and document issues
• Test and install batteries
• Stock inventory and maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Work with your team to deliver fast, accurate, elite service
• Opportunity to progress into light mechanical services (brakes, suspension, alignments) as skills and experience allow
