Kolar Tire & Auto is seeking a skilled and dependable Tire Technician to join our team in Bozeman, Montana. As a Tire Tech, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, mounting, and balancing tires, as well as assisting customers with their tire needs. You will ensure high-quality service, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• -Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation
• -Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires for various vehicle types
• -Operate tire changing and balancing equipment safely and effectively
• -Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• -Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe at all times
• -Assist customers with tire-related questions and provide excellent service
• -Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards

Qualifications

• -High school diploma or equivalent
• -Previous experience as a Tire Technician preferred (but we will train the right candidate)
• -Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• -Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• -Excellent customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• -Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• -Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods of time
• -Ability to work in varying weather conditions

• -$20-30/hour, depending on experience
