Job summary

Discount Tire is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Redmond, Oregon. You will lead a team on the sales floor, supervise tire installation and service, and uphold safety and quality standards while delivering a great customer experience.

You will coach a 4- to 5-person technician team, manage inventory, and help the store run smoothly in a fast-paced, people-first environment with growth opportunities from within.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Automotive enthusiasm is a plus but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Busting tires: Install, rotate, balance, repair, and clean tires and wheels.
• Coaching a team: Train, mentor, and coach a team of 4-5 technicians
• Managing: Organize new and existing inventory of tires, wheels, wiper blades, and lug nuts
• Delighting customers: Provide an inviting, easy, and safe customer experience
• Growing: Learn by doing with hands-on, on-the-job training and development
