Job summary

Commercial Tire is looking for a Service Technician 1 to perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairs for commercial and light-duty vehicles. The role includes in-store and at-customer-site service, with after-hours roadside support as needed and strict adherence to DOT/ELD requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• DOT Driver Qualification file (DQ) and Medical Certification.
• TIA Certification.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide tire-related services in-store and at customer locations (mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairs).
• Perform on-site fleet checks, pressure adjustments, and roadside assistance as scheduled.
• Complete work orders, service tickets, and invoices accurately; verify customer credit and billing adjustments.
