Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources; mentor new technicians; communicate effectively for safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and seasonality; utilize Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, enhance service, and increase engagement; work with handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage others.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; monitor returns and orders; handle transactions; maintain inventory and safety standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service; inspire and train team members; support a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; use the Open Door Policy; implement business practices accordingly.
• Complete assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
