Position Summary...
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, and resources, and mentor new technicians. Develop interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Use POS systems and sales techniques effectively.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan, drive sales, improve service, and engage with associates. Adapt to new technology and encourage its use among team members.
- Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies. Manage returns, orders, and operating cash registers. Maintain inventory, safety, and compliance standards. Report issues and complete documentation.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products, develop and inspire others, and foster a respectful, supportive, team-oriented environment. Understand and address roadblocks, and assist in training.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create an inclusive workplace, build trusting relationships, and support team development. Recognize contributions and foster a culture of belonging.
