Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal will be to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the Company's products and services.
2. Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
3. Maintain the Sales Floor in Tire and Battery Center according to Company policies by handling claims and returns properly, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and managing shrink and damages.
4. Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following Company procedures, using equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing necessary documentation.
5. Ensure Facility safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe situations.
6. Operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to procedures.
7. Assist Members with products and services, including completing vehicle service requests, operating equipment safely, and processing paperwork.
8. Service Members’ automobiles by driving cars into and out of bays, identifying damages, performing automotive services like tire installation, and operating computer equipment for processing services.
