Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less, by collaborating with team members to meet member expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with colleagues to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, equipment operation, TPMS, product specs, and sales techniques including POS systems and customer interaction.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, enhance service, and improve engagement through handheld technology and systems, adapting quickly to new tools and encouraging others.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment and supplies needs, operate cash registers, maintain inventory and safety standards, report issues, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service, develop others, and embody the brand by supporting a respectful, team-oriented environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, and complete work effectively by collaborating with team members and managing priorities.
