Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; utilize Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and engage colleagues; operate hand-held technology for business decisions related to services, safety alerts, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, tools, and supplies; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory, safety, and compliance standards; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service; inspire and train team members; understand and help overcome roadblocks.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; communicate effectively; prioritize tasks; seek continuous improvement.
