Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; knowledge of POS systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and increase engagement; utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to services, safety, products, and training; adapt to new tools and promote their use.
4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; track returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain inventory, safety, and compliance; report issues; complete documentation; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service; develop and inspire team members.
6. Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement action plans; use the Open Door Policy.
7. Complete work efficiently by collaborating with managers and colleagues; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; seek improvement opportunities; learn from feedback.
