Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools and resources, mentor new technicians, and communicate effectively to provide safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specs, and sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service, and enhance engagement, utilizing handheld technology for immediate decisions and training.
• Be an Owner: Manage equipment, supplies, inventory, and safety standards; process transactions; assist members; and ensure proper packaging and labeling according to company policies.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote high-quality service and products, develop others, and foster a respectful, supportive team environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, and complete assigned tasks efficiently while communicating progress and seeking continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver’s license, completion of required training and assessments, and being 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in auto service industry or retail is preferred.
