Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services.
2. Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
3. Maintain the Sales Floor in the Tire and Battery Center according to Company policies by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and managing shrink and damages.
4. Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing documentation.
5. Ensure safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
6. Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with procedures.
7. Assist Members with purchasing and service decisions, complete vehicle service requests, operate equipment safely, and maintain paperwork.
8. Service Members' automobiles by driving vehicles into and out of bays, identifying damages, following tire installation guidelines, performing automotive services, and operating computer equipment for processing services.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay depending on location and applicable premiums.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to complete all required training and assessments successfully
