Job description

Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do...
  1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, while developing interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
  2. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, selling techniques, and digital tools to enhance sales and service experience.
  3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan, drive sales, and improve service, making immediate business decisions related to safety alerts, products, and training.
  4. Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies, track returns and special orders, operate cash registers, maintain inventory, ensure safety and compliance, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
  5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and developing others. Foster a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented work environment.
  6. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing action plans and utilizing the Open Door Policy.
  7. Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with others, and adapting to change and feedback.
