Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate others on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians. Develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality. Show proficiency with Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person sales techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and engage with associates, utilizing handheld technology for immediate business decisions.
• Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools, and supply needs, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain inventory, ensure safety standards, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Promote the brand by providing high-quality service, developing others, and fostering a respectful, supportive team environment. Comply with company policies, complete work efficiently, and communicate effectively.
