Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate others on tools, tasks, and resources; mentor new technicians; and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety protocols, tire and battery industry standards, service procedures, equipment operation, TPMS, product specifications, seasonality, POS systems, and selling techniques.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools like handheld technology to plan sales, improve service, and enhance engagement; adapt to new tools and promote their use among team members.
• Be an Owner: Communicate needs for equipment, tools, and supplies; manage inventory and safety standards; process transactions; assist members with purchases; and ensure proper packaging and labeling of merchandise.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the brand by providing high-quality service, inspiring others, and supporting team development.
• Follow company policies, ethics, and standards; complete work efficiently; communicate progress; and seek continuous improvement.
