Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your goal is to deliver more of what our members love, for less, by working collaboratively with other associates to meet member expectations.

What you'll do

1. Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the Company's products and services.
2. Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
3. Maintain the Sales Floor in Tire and Battery Center according to Company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and managing shrink and damages.
4. Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, using equipment properly, merchandising, and completing necessary documentation.
5. Ensure safety by following all standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
6. Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
7. Assist members with automotive services, including tire installation, repairing flats, balancing, rotating tires, testing, and installing batteries, following company guidelines.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with potential premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual wage will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must successfully complete all required training and assessments within a set timeframe.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the auto service industry or retail.
