Job summary

Walmart Canton is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe and efficient service in both sales and service areas. You will work with associates to meet member expectations and collaboratively fulfill requests, including POS transactions and inventory tasks.

The role emphasizes safety, knowledge of tire and battery guidelines, and the use of digital tools to enhance service and customer engagement while supporting team members and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Valid State-issued Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfill sales and service requests educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS and POS systems.
• Plan with digital tools to support sales, improve service, and assist in decision making using handheld tech.
• Assist with inventory, cash handling, and documentation while ensuring merchandise is packaged, labelled and stored per policy.
• Support customers by identifying needs and guiding them to appropriate products and services.
