Job summary

Walmart in Boardman, OH is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in sales and service areas. You will work with teammates to meet member expectations and help with product knowledge, safety, and hands-on maintenance of tires and batteries.

You will use handheld tools, assist with purchases, process transactions, and maintain accurate inventory while following safety and integrity standards.

Qualifications

• Valid State-issued Driver's License.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Acknowledgement of completing trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if selected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team to fulfil sales and service requests educating associates on tools, tasks, resources and mentoring new technicians.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety and tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment operation, and point-of-sale techniques.
• Uses handheld tools and digital systems to plan, drive sales, improve the service experience and support associates.
• Maintains inventory, processes transactions at the register, and ensures safety and compliance in the area.
• Resolves member questions and assists with purchasing decisions while upholding Walmart policies.
