Job summary

Walmart Tire & Battery Center in Yuma, AZ is hiring an associate to maintain a safe and organized TBC sales floor, stock displays, and manage claims, returns, and damages. You’ll assist members with installation scheduling and product recommendations.

You will greet members, assess needs, explain warranties, and guide purchasing decisions using Sam’s Garage and POS tools while upholding Walmart standards. This full-time role offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: auto service industry or retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and standards on the Tire and Battery Center area by following safety policies and procedures.
• Presents and stocks merchandise, sets up displays, prices items, and handles damaged goods.
• Monitors tire and battery orders and assists members with installation appointments.
• Greet members, identify needs, help with purchasing and service decisions, and explain warranties.
• Uses Sam’s Garage and POS tools to advise on the best tire and battery products and services.
• Drives sales and service excellence by communicating value and promoting TBC offerings to members.
• Triages service workflow in TBC bays and prioritizes appointments for efficiency.
• Maintains knowledge of safety, KPIs, TPMS, product specs, and service standards; conducts real-time decisions.
• Leverages handheld devices to plan sales, improve service, and adopt new tools among team members.
• Acts as a brand advocate, develops teammates, and helps overcome roadblocks with empathy.
• Processes purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
