Job summary

Sam’s Club in Laredo, TX is seeking a Tire & Battery Center associate to maintain safety standards, organize the service floor, and assist members with tire and installation needs. You will greet members, explain warranties, recommend suitable tire and battery products, and use Sam’s Garage to plan services while coordinating with technicians to keep queues moving.

The role requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to handle payments and returns at the POS, and a commitment to delivering

Qualifications

Valid state-issued driver's license (minimum qualifications).
18 years of age or older (minimum qualifications).
Auto service industry or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains safety standards and handles forklift and hazardous materials per policies.
Keeps Tire & Battery Center organized, stocked, and merchandised per policy.
Assists members with tire installation appointments and service decisions.
Provides expert member service, explains warranties, and recommends suitable products.
Drives sales and service excellence and promotes Tire & Battery Center offerings.
Triages service workflow in TBC bays and prioritizes appointments for efficiency.
Uses Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to guide purchases and services.
Follows safety, compliance, and product specifications; operates POS and processes payments/returns.
