Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards by adhering to all safety policies and procedures, including conducting regular safety sweeps, forklift and hazardous material handling requirements, and promptly reporting unsafe situations.
• Present and maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up displays, pricing items, and securing fragile/high-shrink merchandise.
• Monitor tire and battery orders and assist members with installation appointments, communicating lead time changes and cancellations.
• Provide expert member service by greeting members, identifying needs, and guiding purchases using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge to recommend safe, suitable tire and battery products and explain warranties.
• Drive sales and service excellence in the Tire and Battery Center by promoting offerings and collaborating with associates to raise member awareness.
• Triages service workflow in TBC bays, prioritizes appointments, and works with the TBC Team Leads/Technicians to meet service needs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety/compliance protocols, tire/battery industry guidelines, TPMS, product specs, POS systems, and selling techniques.
• Leverage handheld devices and digital tools to plan sales, improve service, and encourage adoption of new tools among team members.
• Serve as a brand advocate by delivering high-quality service and working with team members to reduce roadblocks and improve the member experience.
• Process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges per policy; operate cash registers and manage payments per membership types.
• Comply with ethics and integrity standards, Open Door Policy, and related business processes and practices.
• Complete tasks with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; communicate progress and adherence to deadlines.
