Job summary

Walmart Visalia's Tire & Battery Center seeks a customer-focused associate to uphold safety standards, merchandise displays, and efficient service. You will greet members, assist with tire and service decisions, and coordinate with the TBC team to schedule installations and maintain inventory.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and a commitment to helping members get the right tires and services while delivering value and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: auto service industry experience and retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety standards and reports unsafe situations per policies.
• Ensures Tire and Battery Center floor is organized, stocked, zoned and merchandised.
• Monitors tire and battery orders and assists with installation appointments.
• Offers expert member service, assists with purchases, explains warranties and uses Sam's Garage for recommendations.
• Drives sales and service excellence and promotes TBC offerings across the club.
• Triages service workflow in TBC bays and coordinates with technicians to meet needs.
