Job summary

Sam's Club in Houston is seeking a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead to drive member service and supervise hourly associates. You will model expertise in Tire and Battery Center and collaborate with other team leaders to meet member expectations.

You will lead the team to deliver the business plan, ensure safety and compliance, and actively develop talent while leveraging digital tools to boost sales and service quality across the club.

Qualifications

• 6 months supervisory experience or 6 months experience in automotive industry.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Leader: supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver on the business plan.
• Be an Expert: maintain indepth knowledge of tire and battery service standards, safety and product recalls.
• Be a Techie: use digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve service, and train associates.
• Be an Owner: manage inventory, staffing, scheduling, cash handling and compliance.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: train team, monitor e-learnings, and nurture internal/external talent.
