Job summary

Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto is hiring a Service Advisor to join our team. The role focuses on greeting customers, detailing concerns, and directing service needs with clear communication of recommendations and quotes.

Compensation is $18–$25/hour plus commissions, with benefits including tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and health insurance. Exceptional advancement opportunities exist within this multi-generational family business.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful, but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work five days per week including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and by telephone.
• Listen to and document customer concerns; inspect vehicle and service history to identify needs.
• Recommend services and clearly communicate additional recommendations from the technician.
• Promote services, parts, and accessories with product knowledge.
• Provide accurate quotes including cost and time for services.
• Provide updates on service status to customers throughout the day.
• Cashing out with a review of the multi-point inspection and warranties.
• Follow up with customers after service and any declined services.
• Track returns and warranty parts for customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
