Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC presents an opening for a Grille 22 Server at Holiday Inn Guin, Alabama. This role focuses on delivering prompt, courteous food and beverage service to restaurant guests, with emphasis on guest satisfaction and proper check handling.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3–6 months dining experience, TIPs certification, and strong English communication skills. Physical stamina for long standing shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Three to six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Must be TIPs certified.
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders, serving as requested and accommodating special needs.
• Complete opening and closing side-work and restocking duties.
• Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, wait-station and service areas.
• Receive payment and ensure accuracy of guest checks and payments.
