Job summary

Lodging America at Guin LLC is seeking staff to provide prompt, courteous food and beverage service in our dining venues. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, and maintaining a clean, friendly environment across shifts.

Ideal candidates have a high school background, 3–6 months in food/beverage service, TIPs certification, and strong English communication skills to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• TIPs certification is required.
• Vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer print outs, and written instructions in dim lighting.
• Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items, and balance/carry trays of food and beverages.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food and drink orders, serving meals and accommodating special requests.
• Remain attentive to guests throughout the dining experience and uphold service standards.
• Perform opening/closing side-work and restocking/cleaning duties.
• Memorize menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, wait-station, and kitchen areas to satisfy health requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of guest checks and payment methods; safeguard guest and company.
