Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Banquet Server to provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service to guests at our Missouri venue. The role involves greeting guests, observing needs, and maintaining clean, well-stocked tables throughout courses.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of banquet server experience in a convention center, knowledge of wines and food preparation, and complete a TIPS training class. A positive, guest-focused attitude and reliable work habits are essential.

Qualifications

1 year of banquet server experience in a convention center is preferred.
Knowledge of wines and food preparation is required.
Must complete a TIPS training class for serving alcohol.
Outgoing personality with guest hospitality focus.
Excellent work habits and reliability.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license where employed.
Background check and drug/alcohol screenings required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests in a quick, courteous manner.
Greet guests with a smile and pleasant disposition.
Observe guest needs, keep tables cleared between courses, and refill beverages.
Complete assigned side work and daily tasks.
Inform supervisor of any guest or employee issues that cannot be handled directly.
