This role combines hands‑on technology work with strategic leadership across multidisciplinary teams, requiring a PhD and a proven ability to influence technical direction and deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related, with 5+ years and expertise in complex physical systems.
- Strong background in experimentation, modeling, simulation, and data-driven decisions.
- Experience applying computational modeling, data analytics, AI/ML, and digital engineering tools to tech challenges.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term Tin Management architecture and tech roadmap.
- Shape experimental strategies for test rigs to gain actionable insights.
- Define modeling, simulation, AI, and data capabilities for decisions.
- Drive alignment across research, systems engineering, and product teams.
- Capture learnings and communicate recommendations to leadership.
- Provide hands-on development and problem solving for ~50% of role.
- Work across multidisciplinary teams to pursue new knowledge.
