Job summary

Tucker Parker Smith Group (TPS Group) seeks a Timekeeping & Administrative Coordinator to support a large employee group within a major utility organization. This role focuses on maintaining accurate timekeeping records for 100+ employees and ensuring payroll data is entered and validated on time.

The ideal candidate will have union timekeeping experience with CBA knowledge and strong SAP and MS Office skills to handle high-volume payroll processes and daily administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Union timekeeping experience with knowledge of CBA strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Previous SAP experience.
  • Ability to support a high-volume employee population and meet strict payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and payroll-related records for 100+ employees.
  • Enter, review, and validate employee hours, schedules, overtime, absences, and other timekeeping information.
  • Apply CBA rules and company policies when processing employee time.
  • Identify and resolve timekeeping discrepancies prior to payroll deadlines.
  • Utilize SAP to enter, review, and maintain employee and timekeeping information.
  • Respond to timekeeping and payroll-related questions from employees and leadership.
  • Coordinate employee schedules and support day-to-day workforce administration.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation using Microsoft Office.
  • Organize and maintain department records, files, and documentation.
  • Assist leadership with communications, scheduling, reporting, and other administrative needs.
  • Ensure timekeeping activities comply with company policies, labor requirements, and established procedures.

Timekeeping & Administrative Coordinator
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:15 AM–2:15 PM
Employment Type: 2 year W2 Contract with Potential for Full-Time Conversion
Pay Rate: $35–$37/hour
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Timekeeping & Administrative Coordinator to support the daily operations of a large employee group within a leading utility organization. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate timekeeping records for 100+ employees, ensuring payroll-related information is entered and validated accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a union workforce, including timekeeping in accordance with a CBA, along with strong Microsoft Office and SAP skills.

Key Responsibilities
