Job summary

Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional Showroom Sales Specialist to join our TEAM. You will provide interior design and product selection advice, product expertise, and thorough follow-up to facilitate customer experience and influence sales/purchasing decisions.

The showroom will be used as a selling tool to drive specifications, sales, and brand awareness. Saturdays are required for this role, with evening and weekend hours and active participation in showroom events and trade shows to develop

Qualifications

Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Four years related experience or a combination of a two-year degree with two years related experience.
Strong sales and customer service skills.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and design concepts.
Proficient with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Provide interior design advice and product expertise to assist with tile and stone selection and project development.
Log all showroom visits and customer data in the CRM system, communicate with team, and track follow-up and sales closure.
Prospect new business, focusing on builders and designers; make outside calls and follow up on leads.
Maintain showroom samples, merchandising, and order/ship product samples to drive sales.
Plan and host showroom tours and industry events to build brand awareness and generate sales.
Attend outside trade events to develop industry relationships and brand presence.
