Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Design Consultant to greet customers on the sales floor and support design projects. You will conduct design appointments to determine needs in selecting tile, wood, stone, and accessories, and partner with store leaders to meet sales goals.

As the entry point into design, you will advise homeowners, interior designers, and builders, using design tools like Salesforce and our Online Scheduler to manage multiple projects with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail/customer service experience.
• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through networking and referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice to homeowners, interior designers, and builders.
