Dal-Tile, the largest tile and stone manufacturer in the United States, is hiring a Showroom Design Consultant. You will provide interior design advice, product selection expertise, and drive sales through the showroom to influence purchases.

The role requires a four-year degree or related experience, strong design sense, and weekend availability. Base pay ranges from $64,000 to $80,000 annually, with incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a related field or four years of related experience.
• Strong sales and customer engagement skills with ability to drive product selection.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is a plus and knowledge of tile/stone design.

Responsibilities

• Provides interior design advice and product expertise, facilitates tile and stone selection, and project development/support.
• Logs client showroom visits, contact information, and notes; coordinates follow-up and sales closure.
• Prospects for new business with emphasis on Custom Builders and Residential Designers; outside calls as needed.
• Maintains showroom samples and merchandising; coordinates orders and vendor relations.
• Plans showroom tours and events; attends trade events to build brand awareness.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
