Dal-Tile is the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States. Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, invites you to help customers with interior design and product selection, using the showroom to drive sales and brand awareness.

We are seeking a Showroom Design Consultant who delivers design expertise, follows up to close sales, and supports builders and designers with samples, events, and merchandising. Evening/weekend hours required.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in a related field, four years of related experience, or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience.
• Competencies: Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service, Design/sketching/reading blueprints/color coordination/interior design trends/customer buying habits/creative thinking.
• Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize innovative and imaginative solutions easily with clients.
• Computer skills MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and customer management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides interior design advice and product expertise, facilitates tile and stone selection, and project development/support, ensuring selection/sales.
• Logs client showroom visits, contact information, and preferences in CMT; coordinates follow-up and sales closure.
• Prospects for new business, including builders and designers; logs visits and follows up on leads.
• Maintains showroom samples/merchandising; coordinates orders, receives, displays products; supports new product launches.
• Plans and hosts showroom tours and events to drive customer sales and industry relationships.
• Evening and weekend hours are required.
