Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Machine Operator I in Corona, CA. You will support water treatment, tile production, and packaging operations under the Production Supervisor. You’ll operate the strapping machine, perform quality checks, and keep equipment clean while following safety policies.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year in tile or color manufacturing and forklift experience. The environment is fast-paced and safety-driven, with a compensation range of about $21.02–$22.62 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• 6 months to 1 year of color or tile manufacturing experience.
• 6 months forklift driving experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility.
• Operate water treatment processes and log discharges.
• Operate the strapping machine to secure pallets.
• Perform kiln exit quality checks and packaging.
• Clean equipment and work areas daily; report issues to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
