Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator I in Colorado to support water treatment, tile processing, and packaging operations under the supervision of the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include operating the strapping machine, inspecting tiles, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety policies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

Responsibilities

• Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility.
• Water Treatment: treat process water and log discharges daily with supervisor approval.
• Inspect tile on the dry side and maintain the sealer area.
• Operate strapping machine to secure pallets.
• Perform quality checks on tile at kiln exit and packaging.
• Clean equipment and work areas daily; report problems to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
