Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Machine Operator I to support production across multiple processes in a fast-paced tile manufacturing environment. You will perform water treatment, operate the strapping and kiln exit processes, and contribute to packaging and quality checks under supervision.

Ideal candidates have basic math skills, read and follow simple instructions, and hold 6 months to 1 year of tile manufacturing experience with forklift familiarity.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• Tile manufacturing experience: 6 months to 1 year required.
• Forklift driving experience: 6 months desired.

Responsibilities

• Water treatment: treat process water, check pH, log discharges.
• Sorter: inspect tile, clean sealer booth and area.
• Strapping machine: operate to secure pallets of tile.
• Kiln exit operator: quality checks and packaging, clean equipment.
