Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products is seeking a Machine Operator I to support tile production in Corona, CA. You will follow safety policies, ensure timely attendance, and assist in water treatment, sealing, strapping, and packaging tasks while maintaining overall quality.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year in tile manufacturing, basic math skills, and the ability to read and follow simple instructions. Forklift experience is a plus in this fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required for daily tasks.
• 6 months to 1 year of color or tile manufacturing experience required.
• 6 months forklift driving experience desired.
• Must be able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance, timeliness, and schedule flexibility.
• Water treatment tasks: treat process water, log discharges with supervisor approval.
• Inspect tile on the dry side and manage the sealer area including cleaning the sealer booth.
• Operate the strapping machine to secure pallets of tile.
• Perform quality checks on tile at kiln exit and package accordingly.
• Clean equipment and work areas daily; report any issues to supervisor or lead.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
