Common Thread Collective, Inc. is seeking a TikTok Shop LIVE Host who will be the on-camera face for brand streams, performing live demonstrations and engaging audiences from a home studio.

The role blends creator, entertainer, sales, and operator skills to convert entertainment into commerce. You will run scheduled live sessions, adapt to real-time comments, manage lighting and audio, and aim to meet sales and engagement benchmarks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Host scheduled TikTok Shop live streams from home with engaging demos, challenges, and giveaways
• Interact with audience, answer questions, handle objections, maintain high energy
• Prepare setup (lighting, audio, connection) and ensure reliable stream quality for every show
• Collaborate with live ops to refine pitches, segments, and pacing week over week
• Be the face of a brand during live streams, remotely and repeatedly

Job description

A TikTok Shop LIVE Host at CTC is the on-camera face of the brands we work with, hosting live shopping streams from home. You combine four skill sets in one role: Creator, Entertainer, Salesperson, and Operator. Your job is to hold attention long enough to turn entertainment into commerce. We are looking for hosts who can run a show, rather than repeat the product, the discount, and “click the basket” on a loop. You will start with one brand, and strong performers will be offered ongoing work across our roster of 50+ brands.

What Success Looks Like

NECESSARY SKILLS

LIVE SHOW HOSTING

• You host scheduled TikTok Shop live streams from home, building a show with fast demos, challenges, audience voting, giveaways, timed offers, and recurring segments that give viewers a reason to stay even when they are not ready to buy

ON-CAMERA PRESENCE

• You are natural on camera with a high-energy, personable style

PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION

• You demonstrate products and share key benefits naturally and authentically
• You follow a brief while improvising in real time when comments, inventory, or offers change

AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT

• You engage chat, answer questions, handle objections, and keep energy high from open to close

HOME STREAM SETUP

• You have reliable internet, a well-lit space, and an iPhone 15 or later, and handle your own pre-show preparation, including lighting, audio, and connection checks before every stream

PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITY

• You hit sales and engagement goals tied to bonus incentives and review performance with our live ops team to refine pitches, segments, and pacing week over week

RELIABILITY

• You are consistently reliable and show up prepared to be the face of a repeatable show

NEXT-LEVEL SKILLS

TIKTOK SHOP / SOCIAL COMMERCE EXPERIENCE

• You bring experience with live streaming, TikTok Shop, or on-camera sales

CONTENT CREATION BACKGROUND

• You have experience with UGC, content creation, or on-camera performance

DOMAIN

MANAGEMENT

• This role does not have direct reports

ORIENTATION

• This role is client-facing. You are the on-camera face of the brands we work with during live streams

FOCUS

• IC | Days & Weeks: You prepare for and run scheduled live sessions, refining pitches, segments, and pacing week over week

LOCATION

• Fully remote: You stream from home

SCHEDULE

• 5–10 hours per week, with consistent availability for recurring weekly streams
