Common Thread Collective is seeking a TikTok Shop LIVE Host to anchor in-studio live streams from our Costa Mesa space. You will blend creator, entertainer, salesperson, and operator skills to hold attention and convert entertainment into commerce.

Start with one brand and expand across our roster of brands. You’ll host with high energy, demonstrate products, engage viewers, and respond to comments in real time, while maintaining reliability and a strong on-camera presence.

Qualifications

• Live show hosting ability to run scheduled TikTok Shop streams.
• Natural on-camera presence with high energy and personable style.
• Demonstrates products and shares key benefits naturally and authentically.
• Engages chat, answers questions, handles objections, maintains energy.
• Accepts accountability with metrics and continuous improvement.
• Reliable and prepared to represent a brand on-site.
• TikTok Shop experience or social commerce background is a plus.

A TikTok Shop LIVE Host at CTC is the on-camera face of the brands we work with, hosting live shopping streams from our Costa Mesa studio. You combine four skill sets in one role: Creator, Entertainer, Salesperson, and Operator. Your job is to hold attention long enough to turn entertainment into commerce. We are looking for hosts who can run a show, rather than repeat the product, the discount, and “click the basket” on a loop. You will start with one brand, and strong performers will be offered ongoing work across our roster of 50+ brands.

CONTENT CREATION BACKGROUND

• You have experience with UGC, content creation, or on-camera performance

DOMAIN

• This role does not have direct reports

ORIENTATION

• This role is client-facing. You are the on-camera face of the brands we work with during live streams

FOCUS

• IC | Days & Weeks: You prepare for and run scheduled live sessions, refining pitches, segments, and pacing week over week

LOCATION

• In-studio: You film on site at CTC’s space in Costa Mesa, CA. Open to candidates in Orange County and LA

SCHEDULE

• 5–10 hours per week, with consistent availability for recurring weekly streams
