Job summary

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Full-Time Tiki Bar Bartender to deliver hospitality, craft cocktails, and provide memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities include stocking bar, creating seasonal cocktails, handling cash and POS, and maintaining inventory while complying with state liquor laws. ServSafe or TIPS is preferred; English fluency required; 18+ age per state law. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), PTO, and service charge eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Requires HS diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience.
  • Experience with POS systems preferred (POSITOUCH, MICROS).
  • Fluent English required.
  • Must meet Florida state age requirements for handling alcohol.

  • Assist in seasonal cocktails and menu development.
  • Maintain inventory and communicate needs to management.
  • Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
  • Handle guest requests and concerns; communicate with manager.
  • Perform opening/closing duties, including cash handling and POS operations.
  • Review banquet schedule and assist with catered events.
  • Practice safe work habits and maintain regular attendance.

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club, located in Lehigh Acres, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Tiki Bar Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
General Purpose:

Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Essential Duties:
  • Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, and maintain inventory records
  • Assist department leaders with the creation of seasonal cocktails and the development of the menu
  • Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
  • Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
  • Perform opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to, inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
  • Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize the Point-of-Sale system
  • Review banquet schedule for changes, special events, and calendar updates
  • Serve catered parties from service or portable bars
  • On occasion, serve meals to guests
  • Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS).

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and current trends in the industry and marketplace
  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to company values
  • Exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to Troon employees, clients, and vendors
  • Fluent in spoken, written, and comprehended English
  • Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
