Job summary

Troon is seeking a Full-Time Tiki Bar Bartender at Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club in Lehigh Acres, FL. The successful candidate will serve beverages, assist in creating cocktails, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stock bar and serve alcoholic beverages according to standards.
• Assist with creation of seasonal cocktails and menu development.
• Maintain inventory control and communicate supply needs to management.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor laws.
• Perform opening and closing duties including inventory and cash control.

Ibis Landing Golf & Country Club, located in Lehigh Acres, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Tiki Bar Bartender! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. General Purpose

Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Essential Duties

• Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, and maintain inventory records
• Assist department leaders with the creation of seasonal cocktails and the development of the menu
• Maintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
• Ensure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager
• Perform opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to, inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize the Point-of-Sale system
• Review banquet schedule for changes, special events, and calendar updates
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars
• On occasion, serve meals to guests
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements

Experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems (e.g., POSITOUCH and MICROS).

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds. Occasionally may lift up to 50 pounds.

Certificates/Licenses

ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
