Hubbell is seeking a Temporary Welding Supervisor for the Olive Branch, MS facility to oversee daily welding operations, direct welders and fitters, and ensure conformance to engineering drawings and safety protocols. The role requires hands-on TIG welding knowledge and leadership on 1st shift.

This contract through May 1, 2027 emphasizes quality, productivity, and cost awareness, with collaboration across Quality and Engineering teams to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervision experience in manufacturing/production.
• Strong hands-on TIG welding knowledge preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or fabrication environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily welding operations and labor efficiency to meet production demands.
• Direct and mentor shift personnel, assist with training, and resolve workplace concerns.
• Inspect weldments to ensure compliance with engineering drawings before downstream operations.
• Enforce safety protocols, investigate near-misses/incidents, and maintain a clean work floor.
• Monitor inventories of welding consumables and coordinate equipment maintenance.
