Job description

Pro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift TIG Welders for a client in Elkhart, IN. The TIG Welder is responsible for being able to assemble and weld parts as directed, read prints to ensure proper welds, hold proper dimensions for each unit, fabricate parts to specifications, and follow directions. The Welder is also responsible for directing others in proper assembly of parts and identifying parts required.

Shift and Compensation

1st Shift Monday-Friday 6-2:30 PMPay: $23.00 / hour

Job Duties

• Perform Tig welds on assigned projects.
• Inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Able to air check tubes and make necessary repairs Work tube inspection, and build ski lockers, pops, and center tubes

Background Profile

• Proficiency in TIG welding (2 years of experience)
• Must be able to use a fork lift properly; at least 1 year experience
• Must pass an on-site welding test for TIG
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Knowledge of fabrication of parts and air checking tools
• Know where to put lift eye flanges for different diameter tubes
• Able to run bead on different material thickness
• Knowledge of air and hand tools such as screw guns, drills, grinders, sanders, and band saws
