Job summary

Hydraulics International, Inc. is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in a hands-on welding role.

The successful candidate will set up and operating TIG welding equipment to produce high-quality welded assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings and company standards. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of TIG welding experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and experience welding precision metal components in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of welding procedures, materials, filler metals, and equipment settings.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and gauges for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to weld metal components and assemblies.
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols; interpret work instructions.
• Prepare parts by cleaning, cutting, fitting, and positioning for welding.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, appearance, and conformance to specs.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Identify welding defects and perform repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
