Job summary

Hydraulics International, Inc. (HII) is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team in Chatsworth, CA.

The TIG Welder will set up and operate welding equipment to produce high-quality welded assemblies per engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of TIG welding experience, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a history of producing precise welds in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clean, high-quality welds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to weld metal components and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Prepare parts for welding by cleaning, cutting, fitting, and positioning materials.
• Select appropriate welding equipment, settings, and filler materials per job requirements.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, penetration, appearance, and conformance to specs.
• Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.
