Precision Stainless Steel & Vacuum Systems is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our production team. You will perform high-precision fusion TIG welding on stainless steel components, reading complex drawings and ensuring vacuum-tight welds.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years TIG experience, an accredited welding certification or Associate’s degree, and a meticulous eye for detail. Strong metallurgy knowledge and ability to plan weld sequences are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or formal certification from an accredited welding training program.
• 3 to 5 years of dedicated TIG welding experience (or equivalent combination of education and hands‑on experience).
• Demonstrated experience with stainless steel metallurgy and weld parameters.
• Prior experience with vacuum welding / high‑vacuum component fabrication is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality fusion TIG welding on stainless steel assemblies and components.
• Produce leak-free, vacuum-tight welds meeting QC and pressure testing standards, including hard‑to‑reach locations.
• Set weld parameters, gas flow, amperage, and filler rods based on material specifications.
• Analyze drawings to determine proper weld sequences, identifying datum points and hole penetration sequences to minimize distortion.
• Read, interpret, and work directly from complex engineering drawings, schematics, and shop blueprints.
• Interpret multi-format instructions and collaborate with team members and supervisory staff.
