Job summary

Cedar valley stainless is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator specializing in TIG welding to join our fabrication team. You will weld and fabricate metal components, read blueprints, and ensure strict quality and safety standards across construction and manufacturing projects.

The role requires proficiency in TIG along with MIG, FCAW, and SMAW techniques, measurement with calipers/micrometers, and safe operation of tools and plasma cutters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Strong measuring skills with calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret mechanical blueprints and fabrication drawings to produce components.
• Perform TIG welding on sheet metal and structural steel per AWS standards.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and shop math to ensure tolerances.
• Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify weld integrity and dimensions.
• Follow safety protocols on construction sites or in the shop environment.
• Collaborate with team to meet project deadlines with high craftsmanship.
