Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or GED; trade school preferred.
• Minimum 1 year welding experience.
• Able to pass pipe test (GTAW).
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Familiar with pipe and structural welding practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
• Weld and fabricate stainless steel and other metals using TIG and other welding techniques.
• Cut, grind, fit, and assemble materials to precise measurements and tolerances.
• Set up and operate welding machines, torches, grinders, and related shop equipment.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for codes, standards, and project specs.
• Maintain documentation of welds, materials, and quality checks.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE per OSHA policies.
• Assist with material handling and staging for delivery.
• Collaborate with foreman, project managers, and field crews to meet deadlines.
