Job summary

Opti Staffing is seeking a skilled TIG Fabricator for a Vancouver, WA-based role. You will read blueprints, fabricate precision parts, and weld aluminum and other materials to exact specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of welding experience, strong TIG and MIG capabilities, and can fit a project from blueprint to finished product. You will operate lifting equipment safely and contribute to a clean, safe, and productive shop environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding experience, TIG plus MIG foundation.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Dual Shield welding processes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and fit parts to complete jobs.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and maintain safety in welding operations.
• Experience with ISO/AS9100 environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and design documents to fabricate precision parts.
• Cut and weld high-quality parts from aluminum and other materials.
• Fit a project from blueprint to finished product.
• Safely handle heavy materials using forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
• Ensure parts meet customer specifications and inspect assemblies.
• Demonstrate MIG, TIG, and Dual Shield welding techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with supervisors and fabricators to meet production goals.
